Indian fry bread

Fifteen years ago, my dad remarried a woman with Native American roots. Every time we visit, she makes this special delicious make it. She didn’t share the Indian fry bread recipe with me, but the next best thing! An accessible rendition of the Fry Bread. I got permission to post this.. so I’m not in the dog house for Thanksgiving. Ha!

I love how crisp the outside is, yet the inside is chewy and mouth-watering! The color is amazing, too, so it really adds a golden touch to a dinner plate. These are so easy and yet so delicious! They can be matched with so many options as well: butter, jams, tacos, soups, pasta, etc. The possibilities to add these beauties to a meal are endless.
